Glass vials and vessels
 Vials and glasses
We produce different kinds of glasses for the keeping of samples, pills and other sensitive materials that must not react with plastics.

Glass qualities available
¤ý Soda glass ( standard )
¤ý Neutral glass
¤ý Amber glass
¤ý Borosilicate glass
We offer our glasses with the following standard diameters, special sizes are possible
¤ý 17 mm ( wall thickness 0.8 mm )
¤ý 21 mm (wall thickness 0.8 mm )
¤ý 28 mm (wall thickness 1.0 mm )
There are different kinds of seals available
¤ý Snap locks with slightly flanged rim ( standard )
¤ý Rubber stopper, with glass with contracted rim
¤ý Lamella stopper, bottle without rim
The bottom of the glasses may be round or plane.
 Weighing glasses and micro glasses
Specially for the weighing and keeping of small samples, we produce so-called weighing glasses or micro glasses.
These small receptacles are particularly well suited for using on precision balances, since they are real lightweights.
Different sizes available.

Our tubes for microanalysis are particularly suitable for keeping smallest quantities of specimens of materials or substances,
even if those are sensible to light. You would like to know more?
 Vials
We produce vials in different sizes for the most different applications. For this, we mainly use high-grade neutral glass,
whether transparent or amber, or soda glass.

The neck of the bottles can alternatively be produced with flange, suitable for the sealing with aluminium flange lids and
plastic or rubber membranes, or with screw fitting on which most different standard screw lids will fit.

Our standard volumes are 2 ml and 4 ml vials.
Specimen containers with extremely thin walls
For the production of these special sample containers we use extremely thin-walled glass tubes that we redraw. This way we can produce wall thicknesses of 100 ¥ìm or less. Despite the thin walls, these containers can be quite voluminous. So, we are in a position to produce tubes with a diameter of up to 6 mm and with round or even bottom. All containers can be made to measure according to our customers¡¯ needs.
 Micro insertions
In addition to our vials we offer micro insertions. With the help of these insertions it is possible to reduce the volume of
the vials down to a minimum.

Now it is also possible to pre-fix the insertions in the vials. This can be done by gluing or welding them into the bottles.
More about it can be found here.
 Glass capillaries with blown-on ball
This small sample container is characterized by the big volume of the blown-on ball at the end of the capillary.
Balls can be blown on capillaries with different sizes from a diameter of at least 1.5 mm on.
 Bottles with prefixed insertion

Fixed insertions cannot fall out any more or move inside the bottle. The constant arrangement allows an easy automatic
filling and emptying of the bottles. Manual emptying by tilting them head down is also possible; the insertion will not fall out.
Time-consuming equipping of the bottles with insertions has become superfluous. This is made possible by fixing the insertion
with a synthetic-resin adhesive at the bottom and neck of the bottle. For high-temperature applications we also offer bottles
with welded-in insertions. This connection is realized by a controlled fusion of the separate parts.

Applications with mechanic operations inside the insertion, like e. g., mechanical homogenizing, could also be realized.
