 Column packing
The separating effect of columns depends very much on the choice of fillers. We offer glass fillers which are highly
corrosion-resistant. Since glass fillers keep their form very well, they have got a long service life,
which means a great advantage over metal fillers.
 Raschig rings



 
We produce Raschig rings of different glass qualities, like
 
¤ý Soda glass
¤ý Borosilicate glass 3.3
¤ý Quartz glass
¤ý Neutral glass
We can supply Raschig rings in different sizes from 1 mm up to 200 mm diameter. For very delicate
applications like, for instance, in a reactor, we can round the edges of the Raschig rings in order to
avoid chipping when the rings are filled in.

 Wilson spirals
With its numerous revolutions, Wilson spirals belong to the fillers that offer the largest surface. They are flexible
and are therefore not so prone to any damage when filling them in. We produce these spirals with sizes from
2 mm up to 30 mm, solely of borosilicate glass 3.3.
 Fenske rings
Fenske rings are Wilson spirals the thread of which has been cut in its separate revolutions,
in order to gain an even higher packing density. We produce these rings in sizes from 4 mm to 30 mm,
also only of borosilicate glass 3.3.
 Glass balls
   
Glass balls are an economical alternative to Raschig rings. Their surface is not as large as that of the rings and
 therefore the separating effect is lesser than with the rings, but for many applications it is still sufficient.
 glass balls can also be delivered with frosted surface!
We produce glass balls from different glass qualities like
¤ý Soda lime glass
¤ý Borosilicate glass 3.3
¤ý Quartz glass (fused silica)
